A vintage quarter-inch tape machine for your mix. Drive it gently for glue and warmth, or push the record level for thick, saturated tape crunch, all behind a worn, photoreal faceplate that feels like the real thing.
X-OXIDE recreates the full path of a classic studio reel-to-reel: record EQ, tape saturation and bias, the playback head’s low-end bump, gentle high-frequency roll-off, wow and flutter, and optional tape hiss. Pick a tape speed and one of four tape formulas, set your record level, and the machine responds the way tape does: soft, musical compression when you lean on it, and gritty crunch when you under-bias it. Every knob, switch and spinning reel is rendered as real, individually lit photography, so it looks as good as it sounds.

A one-knob harmonic exciter that adds sparkle, presence and air without harshness. Turn it up and dull tracks open up.
Pristine isolates the presence and air region of your sound, gently saturates it to create fresh harmonics, and blends them back on top of the original. One Amount knob does everything at once: as you turn it up, the focus moves lower into the presence range, the harmonics get richer and the blend gets stronger. It’s ideal for vocals that need to cut through, dull acoustic guitars, flat drum overheads, or a whole mix that needs a lift. Oversampled processing keeps the top end smooth and clean.
